Tatiana Isabel Gil

Tatiana Isabel Gil (she/her/hers) is a queer Latine writer, dramaturg, and actor with a passion for new work development, art that moves people to take action, and decolonization as a form of healing and empowerment. Her work centers around the Latine LGBTQ+ experience within the Latine community in the United States. Previously, as the director of Theater Performance, and playwright for the Yo Soy Lola movement, she created 3 one act plays exploring intersectional identities within the Latine experience. She was also a resident artist with The Theater Offensive (Boston, MA) where she wrote, workshopped, and had a staged reading of her full-length play, Lithosphere Heart. Earlier on in the pandemic, Tatiana’s ten minute play, To Laurelis, Love Me was digitally produced with Fresh Ink Theater Company (Boston, MA). Company One Theater (Boston, MA) then commissioned her to write a ten minute play about Pride month, called Wild Flowers which was also digitally produced. Tatiana’s favorite pandemic project was writing and publishing her first children’s book, called Little Bunny/Conejite about a non-binary Bunny’s journey to recognizing their magic, which was written in both English and Spanish.
