SHEREE DUNWELL (Singer) is an award-winning vocalist from Boston, MA. After earning a BFA in vocal performance from Carnegie Mellon University in 2007, she returned to New England where she has been performing ever since. In 2017, she played a featured singing role in the film The Comedian, starring Robert De Niro, Danny DeVito and Patti LuPone. In 2015, she was named grand champion of WCVB’s Community Auditions, hosted by Billy Costa with anchor judge, Candy O’Terry. Other credits include Crystal in Little Shop of Horrors, Mrs. Anderssen in A Little Night Music, and The Dynamites in Hairspray. More recently, she is honored to have participated with others artists of color in a concert performance of Songs for a New World with the Front Porch Arts Collective, as well as a virtual performance of Dear Evan Hansen’s “You Will Be Found” with the Black Voices Project. In addition to performing, Sheree enjoys advocating for at-risk youth as a volunteer for the Mass Mentoring Partnership. She has run 8 Boston Marathons for the organization raising over $100,000 for kids in need.
