Shannon Farrell (Development Associate, she/her/hers) joined the New Rep team in 2020 with experience in development, communications, and a love of storytelling for social change. She holds a B.A. in Writing Arts and a B.A. in Radio/TV/Film Production from Rowan University, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. In college, she also studied biology, earned the Bantivoglio Concentration in Honors Studies, and was named a Presidential Scholar of Excellence. In addition to her position at New Rep, Shannon serves as Development and Communications Coordinator for the Boys & Girls Club of Lawrence. Prior to her career in development, Shannon spent some time as a zookeeper and environmental educator at both Cape May County Park & Zoo and Stone Zoo. Her favorite animal is the Aye-Aye lemur. In her free time, she enjoys baking an abundance of breads and pies, playing Dungeons & Dragons with her friends, and reading her ever-growing bookshelf.
