Mia Straccia (Marketing & Audience Development Intern, she/her/hers) is a senior at Emmanuel College. She is double majoring in in Communications & Media Studies and Theatre Arts. Her classes at Emmanuel and her study abroad theatre curriculum in London have prepared her well for a position in and advocating for the arts. Mia grew up involved with Walpole Children’s Theatre, a non-profit children’s theatre organization. There, she is a part of the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee, as well as a general crew member. Mia has been nominated twice for the Irene Ryan Acting Scholarship through the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival. Mia hopes to combine what she learns at New Rep with her passion for theater and communications into a career working in and advocating for the arts. In her free time, Mia can be found watching SNL, listening to ABBA, or playing the Sims.
