KEN GREEN is a Chicagoan currently residing in Boston’s Dorchester neighborhood. A former news reporter, sports reporter and editor, Ken began writing plays late in life, following a brief stint as a bad slam poet. He has had several plays performed at festivals, including the Fade to Black play festival in Houston. In addition to playwriting, Ken is a storyteller who helps run the Story Club Boston storytelling/reading show in Roslindale and has been featured on PBS’ Stories from the Stage nationally televised storytelling program. He is a devoted Sox fan (White Sox, sorry). His plays include Just Listen… (Boston Theater Marathon, 2020), The Campaign (Marblehead Little Theater 2020 [postponed], Boston Theater Marathon, 2019; Fade to Black Play Festival 2018), Filling in the Gaps (Firehose Center for the Arts’ New Works Festival 2020 [postponed]), 16 Inch (Company One staged reading, 2016) , The Line and State (Fade to Black play festival, 2019 and 2015).
