JāQuan Malik Jones

JāQuan Malik Jones, born and raised in the city of Chesapeake in South Norfolk, Virginia, is an artist who is deeply committed to the black urban diaspora rooted from his coastal southeastern culture. Whether on stage, in front of the camera, or behind the camera, JāQuan is all about sharing stories that are profoundly rooted from his personal lived experiences. He is sincerely committed to passing it forward and assisting people through his artistry, no matter how small or large his contribution may be. JāQuan is an actor, writer, and creator in Brown University Trinity Repertory M.F.A. Programs in Acting and Directing who is presently pursuing his M.F.A. in Acting. JāQuan is also the writer, producer,  and co-creator of BILLIARDS, his hallmark body of work. JāQuan is ecstatic to begin this journey with the New Rep and tell another story from the soul.
