John Steinbeck’s classic follows George and simple-minded Lennie, walking the highways of California in search of jobs to make ends meet. Surrounded by the Depression, the dream of having their own farm keeps them drifting from town to town. But that dream is lost when Lennie unknowingly jeopardizes everything.
New Rep’s CLASSIC REPERTORY COMPANY is produced in cooperation with Boston University. Funded in part by generous individual contributors, Massachusetts Cultural Council and local cultural councils, Roy A. Hunt Foundation, Fuller Foundation, Watertown Community Foundation, and the Foundation for MetroWest.
