Do you like analyzing a play with fellow audience members? Would you like to hear about the director’s vision and the actors’ motivation for their characters? Are you interested in hearing from special guest speakers? If you answered yes, then New Rep’s Talkbacks are for you!
Join us to discuss the ideas, themes, and performance of the play at our very popular post-performance Sunday matinee Talkbacks. Following every Sunday matinee of both Mainstage and Downstage @ New Rep shows, our Artistic staff hosts a discussion with members of the audience, the artists, and the occasional special guest to share ideas, thoughts, and feelings about the show. Good theatre fosters good discussion, so don’t miss this chance to engage in a stimulating discussion about New Rep’s shows!
We are currently planning a series of events including Talkbacks to tie in with our Downstage @ New Rep productions of Their Voices Will Be Heard: My Name is Rachel Corrie and Pieces, which are performing in rotating repertory from March 8 - 30, 2008. Check back here for more information as it becomes available.
(Note: No Talkbacks will be held after the first Sunday matinee performance of each Downstage @ New Rep show.)
