Deep into that darkness peering, long I stood there, wondering, fearing, doubting, dreaming dreams no mortal ever dared to dream before.Edgar Allan Poe, The Raven
As a storm wails and the floor boards creak, three servants labor late one night in Poe’s study. While they prepare for the evening’s event, the stories, poems, and characters of Poe’s past begin to haunt them. From The Fall of the House of Usher to The Tell-Tale Heart and many others, join us as we delve into the macabre and tortured classics of one of Massachusetts greatest writers.
