As part of our mission, New Rep makes performances affordable and accessible to our patrons. For the past several years, we have collaborated with the Cultural Access Consortium (CAC), a group that works with cultural institutions in the Boston area, and throughout New England, to make the arts accessible to all, regardless of physical or cognitive abilities or financial means. In the past, New Rep and CAC have provided both American Sign Language interpreted Audio Described, and Transliterated performances of our Mainstage productions, in addition to bringing New Rep On Tour to schools such as the Perkins School for the Blind and the Horace Mann School for the Deaf.

For all of our productions, we offer both Large Print and Braille programs. We accept requests for preferential seating and welcome guide dogs. Assisted listening headsets are always available at the Box Office. Patrons can use our TTY line to reach the Box Office at 617-923-2067.

During the 2007-2008 season, we have already provided an Audio Described performance of New Rep On Tour’s “The Crucible” at the Perkins School for the Blind and an ASL-interpreted performance at the Horace Mann School for the Deaf.  Students from Horace Mann also attended an ASL-interpreted performance of our Mainstage production of “Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol.”

COMING UP:
